London East Bank College is a course provider for The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Professional Examinations.

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants is now the second largest body of accountants recognised by the statute in the United Kingdom. The ACCA combines the benefits of traditional accounting skills with a wide ranging and forward looking syllabus, which recognises that finance professionals are increasingly required to demonstrate a wide combination of strategic thinking, excellent communication, managerial skills and efficient IT Management.

Membership of the ACCA is obtained only by examination and relevant commercial or industrial experience. The ACCA accepts graduates from any discipline. Exemptions may be awarded by the ACCA if they consider that the prospective students have already successfully completed some of the subjects. LEBC is offering Part-I and Part-II.

 
The subjects in Part-I and Part-II are as follows:

1.2- Financial Information for Management 3.2 Advance Taxation

3.4 Business Information management
Part-II (Papers 2.1-2.6) Core papers
2.1- Information Systems 3.5 Strategic Business Planning & Development
2.2- Corporate & Business Law 3.6 Advance Corporate Reporting
2.3 Business Taxation 3.7 Strategic Financial Management
2.4- Financial Management & Control
2.5- Financial Reporting
2.6- Audit and Internal Review
Teaching Methods
A mixture of lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshops are used. There are group based assessment activities as well as more traditional reports, essays and examinations. Guest speakers and educational visits will add variety and interest to the course.
Duration
One Academic Year is required for two parts for full-time students.
